#Position: #Team Lead Scheduling

Required Skills:

 Oversee crude unloading and blending activity taking into account the

monthly rolling plan, refinery constraints, crude arrival sequence as well

as guidance from supply mgmt. on optimal sequencing and allocation

between #DTA/ #SEZ.

 Manage the following as per guidance from the supply management

team: product mix, spot commitments, utilization of refinery units,

minimization of Quality Give Away (#QGA) & and inventory levels.

 Respond appropriately to deviations from the plan as per guidance from

Supply Management team.

 Plan and roll out an integrated and cohesive approach to production

planning efforts from a tactical to a daily timeframe.

 Oversee the analysis for proper blending of crudes taking into #account

the refinery constraints and tankage information.

 Liaison with plant managers to align crude supply with the refinery

operations.

 Keep the refinery informed of any amendments to arrival timings.

 Plan and coordinate with LP modelers to feed outputs of planning tools

into scheduling tools.

 Monitor the scheduling team so that it provides support to the Supply

Management in optimization through feasibility analysis and refinery

perspective.

 As per guidance from Supply Mgmt., administer the scheduling team so

that it incorporates adjustments to the schedule whenever necessary

taking into account changes in demand and delays to delivery.

 Support the Supply #Management team to resolve issues.

Required Skills:

 Anticipates and manages change and drives improvements in work

processes, systems, etc.

 Leads and #develops teams by setting direction, encouraging the team,

providing feedback and acting as a mentor.

 Makes sound decisions in ambiguous situations and assesses and

attempts to minimize risk.

 Numeric ability to understand and identify inter-relationships across

market variables.

 Is well versed with the MO&P processes.

 Has an understanding of refining processes and operations along with

sound knowledge of supply processes.

 Has excellent proficiency in the #MS Excel tool.

Qualification:

>B.E/B.Tech degree (Chemical).
